Achievements

HELP FOUNDATION, INC.  Operational activities was gearing towards capacity building through life skills education training program and providing opportunities for orphans, youths, young adults, farmers, women and underprivileged students in Liberia. HELP FOUNDATION, INC.  was also engaged in enhancing leadership skills program at all levels and strengthens community development initiatives for growth and development of Liberia. Some of these achievements are as follows

Capacity Building Workshop for Youths & Young Adults in Paynesville

HELP FOUNDATION, INC.  conducted Capacity Building Workshop for 50 Youths & Young Adults as self initiative project to empower the disadvantaged youths, orphans, and high school graduates with Communication skills, Career awareness, Psychosocial Counseling, Character solutions, Leadership styles and Personal hygiene to prepare them for further studies in academic institutions, Technical and vocational schools and the world of work.

The “Theme” of the workshop was “ Be Wise and Use Your Time and Skills Well to Promote the Future”.  The workshop was conducted at the Eamel International Resource Academy (EIRA School Auditorium) Guest House Road, RIA Highway, Paynesville. The program was implemented from November 15th  – November  20th, 2024, and the program climax with awarding of certificates to all the participants of the  program.                                                                        

Youth Enlightenment, Empowerment and Sustainable Program (YEESP)

Background and Problem

HELP FOUNDATION, INC. aims to empower orphans, disadvantaged youth, and young adults by equipping them with essential skills for sustainable living and a smooth transition into the workforce, reducing dependency on the nation.

In partnership with Life Line Children Services, HELP FOUNDATION conducted a six-month Youth Enlightenment, Empowerment, and Sustainability Program (YEESP) from February 1 to July 30, 2024. This program trained 110 participants, including orphans, school dropouts, girl mothers, and disadvantaged youth from Montserrado and Margibi Counties, Liberia.

YEESP Goals:

The goal of the program was focused on the following:

Held at HELP FOUNDATION’s, INC. training center in Thinker’s Village, Monrovia, the program followed the Ministry of Education-approved curriculum, delivered by skilled instructors through practical and theoretical sessions. Participants selected specialization areas, gained hands-on experience, and were supported with modern tools to enhance learning and production.

YEESP successfully empowered youths with skills for self-sustainability, contributing to their personal growth and the nation’s development.

Visitation of Delegates from Lifeline Children Services

Meeting held between the delegates and staff of HELPFOUNDATION, INC.

In the last week of the project completion work, HELP FOUNDATION, INC. received delegates from Life line Children Services from Washington DC, USA on July 27, 2024 to participate in the beneficiaries’ graduation and closing ceremony of the project. According to the minutes of meeting held between the delegates and staff of HELPFOUNDATION, INC. the delegates decided to extend the project to phase two, which will involve provision of tools and equipment to be distributed among beneficiaries as start – up kit to start their businesses.

Computer Skills Training Program

HELP FOUNDATION, INC. conducts computer training program for its staff members, Paynesville City Corporation staffs, Students, teachers within and the surrounding of Paynesville City, orphans as well as business personnel and other interested persons. The program commenced on May 2023 and has produced over 95 capable users of computers within Montserrado and Margibi, counties. Beneficiaries include students with the ages between 12-30 years, school administrators, teachers, business persons, orphans in orphanages and foreigners. Many of these beneficiaries are currently serving the nation in various capacities.

Scholarship Program

HELP FOUNDATION, INC. has compassion for youth and young adults who have lost their parents or are indigents as a result of the Ebola and COVID-19 outbreak in Liberia. Since from 2021 to present, this program offers psychosocial counseling for orphans and their caregivers. When funds and resources are available, scholarship opportunities and relief assistance are provided for them in the form of school fees and other school-related payments, food, first aid kits, clothing, shoes, toys and games.

With the partnership of PIMIL in Ohio, USA, God’s Kids, the Nancy Mole house Family, Elizabeth Eaton Family, St. Peter by the Sea, the Capelin Family, Scott Darling and Jim Daniel,  and HELP FOUNDATION, INC. provided scholarship  for 75 needy Liberian youths & young adults in elementary, high school, and college.

Library/ Reading/ Learning Center Program

This is one of HELP FOUNDATION, INC. initiatives, established on June 18, 2021 to respond to the many problems being forced by the Liberian educational sector. Specifically, the program seeks to expose students, teachers, and school administrators to a variety of books and multi-media approaches to teaching and learning.The goals of the program are as follows:
